To mark EDAW 2019, we worked with St Colman’s Community College in Midleton. Students from the transition year threw themselves into creating some wonderful art pieces, to highlight many aspects of eating disorders.
The Community-Academic Research Links initiative, CARL, is located at University College Cork and invites non-profit voluntary or community organisations (CSOs) to suggest potential research topics that can be pursued by students on their behalf across a wide range of academic disciplines in UCC.
Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2018 was launched in Cork Institute of Technology. The week focused on highlighting the effects eating disorders can have on oral health.
Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2017, saw EDCC putting the spotlight on prevention and early intervention. The week was officially opened by the then Lord Mayor Cllr Tony Fitzgerald at UCC Boole Library. Information stands were also on display in C.I.T. and the Cork Central Library.
